Stainless steel square and rectangular pipe is a name for square and rectangular pipes, i.e., steel pipes with equal (square) and unequal (rectangular) side lengths. It is usually made of strip steel rolled through the process, which can be formed into a round tube through the steps of unwrapping, flattening, crimping, welding, etc., and then rolled from the round tube into a square or rectangular tube, and then cut into the required lengths.
Flat plate welding process: four steel plates are welded together, eliminating the bending process and not subject to the limitations of wall thickness, but the production speed is slow, the quality is unstable, the strength is low, and produces four welded seams.
High-frequency resistance welding (ERW) first round and then square process: on the basis of high-frequency resistance welding unit production of round pipe process, the addition of square and rectangular holes in the sizing machine, so that the round welded pipe cooling processed into a square and rectangular welded pipe. The dimensional accuracy is higher, but microcracks or even fracture may occur when the wall thickness is larger.
Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of the two channels button-welding process: the coil is bent into a “[” shape, and then submerged arc welding (internal and external welding) of the two “[” shape button-welding into a double welded square and rectangular pipe. Can be added inside the square rectangular pipe partition (fascia), and the section range is large, but the double weld process is complex, and the maximum wall thickness is limited.
