Incoloy 903 alloy is easy to machine and mold and can be processed and fabricated in a variety of ways, including hot working (e.g., hot forging, hot extrusion) and cold working (e.g., cold forming, cold cutting). It should be noted, however, that due to the alloy’s high strength and toughness, cold working is more difficult and usually requires higher working pressures and proper lubrication. In terms of welding, the alloy has good welding properties and is suitable for a variety of welding methods, such as argon arc welding, laser welding and electron beam welding. It is able to maintain excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance after welding. Incoloy 903 also have high high-temperature strength and stability, allowing them to be used for long periods of time in high-temperature environments without significant degradation of properties.
