High carbon steel plate has a high carbon content over 0.6%.Due to its high amount of carbon, high carbon steel plates are the most corrosion resistant of the steel plates. Meanwhile, high carbon steel plate has the best hardness and tensile strength. The common high-carbon steel plate grades include US ASTM SAE AISI 1059, 1060, 1065, 1070, 1075, 1080 and so on.
