Hastelloy steel wire is available in a variety of grades, each with different compositions and properties. Common grades include, but are not limited to, the following:
Hastelloy C-276 Wire: A nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel wire containing tungsten, which provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially in reducing media. It contains very low levels of silicon and carbon, further enhancing its corrosion resistance.
Hastelloy G-30 wire: a high-performance nickel-based alloy wire containing high percentages of chromium and cobalt, giving it excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance.
Hastelloy S wire: a strong, corrosion-resistant alloy steel wire with good resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It is mainly used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant equipment and piping, especially in acidic, oxidizing and high-temperature environments.
