Duplex 2205 yield strength than ordinary austenitic stainless steel is more than twice as high, there is enough toughness using duplex stainless steel manufacturing pressure tank wall thickness is usually 30-50% less than the austenitic, which is conducive to cost reduction. 2205 has excellent resistance to stress corrosion rupture ability, and stress corrosion is ordinary austenitic stainless steel is difficult to solve the outstanding problem. 2205 has a low coefficient of linear expansion, and carbon steel is close to, suitable for and carbon steel connection, has important engineering significance, such as the production of composite plates.
