A36 steel is a low carbon steel which makes it to be easily machined, welded, formed, and it is the most basic of structural steels manufactured to mechanical properties for general purposes. Due to different countries has different ways of names the steel, a36 steel has some equivalent grades, such as S235JR, SS400, Q235, ST37-2, S235J2.
Due to its high strength-to-weight ratio, formability and excellent welding properties, A36 carbon steel coil becomes one of the most widely used carbon structural steels.
