In different standard, 304L stainless steel has different specification, stainless steel 304 equals as 022Cr19Ni10, SUS304L, 1.4306, 03X18H10 etc. The details as the following chart:

Grade 304L contains less than 0.03% carbon, so 304L can be used in all applications where 304 are acceptable. The lower carbon content gives 304L a better elasticity.If better elasticity and weldability are required, 304L would be a better choice than 304 grade.
